Become an Academy

Educational institutions and nonprofit organizations around the world deliver Networking Academy courses to help improve local career opportunities. The courses cover a range of topics from basic network design and theory to network security and advanced troubleshooting tools. 21st century skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration are integrated into the curricula to help students succeed in their careers.

Delivery Model

Networking Academy utilizes a blended learning model that combines face-to-face teaching with engaging online content and hands-on learning activities to help students prepare for industry-standard certifications, entry-level and advanced careers, and higher education in engineering, computer science, information systems, and related fields. Courses are delivered through secondary and post-secondary schools, colleges, universities, and community-based organizations in more than 165 countries.

Become a Local Academy

Local academies deliver training to students, and regional academies providing training and support to local academies. To apply for status as a local or regional academy, you can fill out an online application or use the Academy Locator tool to obtain contact information for training academies in your area.

The regional academy in your area will provide more information about training schedules for instructor certification, cost-recovery options, and support. Regional academies will also facilitate communications between new academies and education sales representatives to fulfill lab equipment requirements.

But the lack of Internet-supported education and shortage of technology-savvy workers are global dilemmas, threatening to place nations that fall behind at a permanent disadvantage in the new economy. The Cisco Networking Academy Program at ICT is a timely response to these challenges.

Cisco Systems, Through this innovative partnership, the Cisco Networking Academy program is preparing students for the demands and enormous opportunities of the information economy, while creating a qualified talent pool for building and maintaining networks. The Regional Academy at ICT is imparting training among the students with leading edge technologies in the field of networking Availing this opportunity, students can be trained to deal with real-life networking design issues, find complex networking solutions, and to troubleshoot problems.

The training program is suitable for students who are interested to deal with computer network related issues. The program offers a four-semester long course to be completed within a period of seven months. After completing the course, a student is equipped with required knowledge and skills to sit for an examination conducted by Cisco through independent companies. The successful candidate will achieve a certification titled "Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)" which is highly sought after in the industry.

Student Shelter In Computers Regional Academy at ICT has been in existence since 2009. As Regional Academy, ICT is provide training and support to the Local Academies within the region. The Regional Academy also ensures healthy academy partnerships with Cisco Systems Inc. by maintaining Quality Assurance Plans with each Local Academy as stated in the contract. The teachers at the Academy have been through extensive training and are Cisco Certified Academy Instructors.

The Cisco Networking Academy Program curriculum centers on teaching students to design, build, and maintain computer networks. The Program prepares students for the 21st Century workplace, while serving as a valuable model for e-learning.

This Program is totally different from the 5-day CCNA boot camp offered by IT Training Centers. Participants can expect to have a good hands-on experience on Cisco routers. A substantial number of hours are allocated for hands-on experiments.
